The POCT readers are made to analyze the DIASTROKE® POCT (Point-of-care rapid test). They allow a quantitative analysis of the concentration of GPBB in 15 minutes. After the sample has been applied to the test, the respective test strips are placed in the device holder of the reader. A built-in digital camera captures an image of the test strip. The reader then uses integrated imaging software and interprets the signal on the test strip. The intensity of these signals and the controls on the test strip are analyzed, and the results are presented visually on the display of the device.
